Certified Hawker Aircraft Mechanic Knoxville TN

About Us

The Benefit of Experience

Certified Cessna Plane Mechanic Knoxville TNOwner and Operator, Jim Collins, began his aviation career in the jet engine shop of the United States Air Force. While maintaining a full time position in the Air Force as the engine shop supervisor on swing shift, Jim also went to school full time during the day to earn his Airframe & Powerplant Certificates. As a civilian, he focused on the type of aircraft he most enjoyed--corporate jets--through work with Whittle Communications and later as Lead Mechanic for the Cessna Citation Service Center Division. Jim then became the first Chief of Maintenance for First Tennessee Bank's Aviation Department. After choosing to return to the area where he grew up, Jim now works out of the McGhee Tyson Airport near Knoxville, Tennessee, and maintains the jets of several nationally-known companies. He is also an active member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
